Reagan wears many hats, but her official role at The Lighthouse | Black Girl Projects is a program associate, where she aids in program development and management. A native southwest Mississippian, Reagan developed a special appreciation for the non-profit sector as a teen working as an administrative intern in the offices of a community action agency over several years. This resolve stuck with her through the years in undergrad at Jackson State University, where she studied English and fostered her love for community organizing and black cultural history. Reagan spearheads the Magee Project, a content and media curation project focused solely on affirming and cultivating safe online spaces for Black women and girls.
In her spare time, she enjoys baking sweets for her friends, bad karaoke and being an obsessive Game of Thrones fan.
“Never forget what you are, for surely the world will not. Make it your strength. Then it can never be your weakness. Armour yourself in it, and it will never be used to hurt you.”
– Tyrion Lannister, George R. R. Martin
