The Lighthouse | Black Girl Projects seeks to provide holistic leadership development though focused programming for Black girls and women in the southeastern United States. These programs range from professional development to community needs assessments and crisis intervention strategies. The ultimate mission of The Lighthouse is to create spaces of safety and solidarity for Black women and girls to exist, evolve and thrive, unapologetically.
The purpose of this Community Needs Assessment Survey is to measure the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Black women and girls living in the Southeast. Your responses will contribute to a body of research aimed to identify and meet the needs of Black girls and women in a pandemic and post-pandemic world. Participation in our survey means your identity will be protected. We will only collect your email address and/or phone number in the event that you are willing to participate in an interview or focus group, or if you are willing to participate in a drawing to win a Lighthouse care package upon completion of the survey. The survey will close on Friday, January 29. Care package winners will also be contacted via email on this date.
If you have any questions or concerns about the survey, please contact Margaree Jackson, Research Analyst, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
