Bria R. Griffith is the Senior Vice President of Strategy at The Lighthouse|Black Girl Projects. She previously held positions at CohnReznick LLC as chair of the National Diversity & Inclusion Council, The National Social Impact Committee and Pay it Forward subcommittee. After a decade as a project manager aiding large, federal disaster recovery projects, Griffith knows how to get s**t done. She enjoys coaching talented teams and leading team members to high-performance levels.
Griffith is fervently passionate about dismantling oppressive systems and structures, particularly in the business sector, and has dedicated most of the free time she has to advocating for often-ignored communities and groups, promoting social and economic equity. She works to be a connector of community and business with the intention of harnessing the power businesses have to change the world for good.
Griffith has spoken at the University of Maryland Project Management Symposium, the New York State Society of CPAs, the Executive Women’s Forum and more, and has been published in PM World Journal. She holds an MBA in International Leadership and a BBA in Business Administration and Political Science, both degrees from Millsaps College.
A daughter of the South, Griffith has lived in multiple states and is an aspiring jet setter who travels frequently, is a football enthusiast (a four-time flag football MVP and pro-bowler herself) and consummate big sister (the oldest of three who stands only 5- feet tall).
