OUR MISSION

The Lighthouse | Black Girl Projects’ mission is to be a revelatory, unflickering light for Black girls and young women in the southeastern United States through focused programming and by creating spaces of solidarity and safety.

OUR WORK

The Lighthouse | Black Girl Projects takes a holistic approach to the leadership development of Black girls and women in the southeastern United States through a consortium of projects. These projects include research program building, and the evolution of boardrooms and legislative halls. The organization creates safe spaces for Black girls in their homes and communities where safety and freedom should be welcomed.
